Where can I retrieve my VISA details?

All Australian residents who are not citizens will hold an electronic VISA. This includes permanent residents.

You can find your own visa details on the link below or by calling the Dept of Home Affairs Number: 131 881 or online here.

If you choose to do so online, here are the steps you need to follow:

Step 1: Choose your document type that your visa is attached to.

Step 2: Input the details regarding your document and press submit.

Note: If you’re a long term resident who arrived in Australia before 1990 and have not left the country since, you are unlikely to have an electronic visa record. You can apply for an electronic visa record so you can complete the police check application. For more information on how to apply for an electronic visa, click here.
