How long does the manual review process take?

Around 30% of checks across Australia are referred for manual review.

Of these, about 80% are completed within 15 business days, though some may take longer and many are finalised sooner. These timeframes are based on information from Government and State Police agencies.

Business days are counted from the day after your application is submitted.

While we can’t provide an exact timeframe, our system checks for updates every 5 seconds so we can send your results as soon as they’re available.
