Can I use a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Checks (NCCHCs) for immigration or visa purposes?

For immigration or visa purposes, it is required to complete an Australian Federal Police Check (AFP). An AFP check differs from a National Police Check based on the purpose of why an individual is completing a check. 

An Australian Federal Police Check is commonly used for the following:

• International Employment Applications
• International and Spousal/Marriage Visa Applications
• Australian Immigration and Citizenship 
• If Applicants are Currently Residing/Living Outside Australia
