Can I dispute the results?

Yes, you are able to lodge a request to dispute your check results if you believe that something shouldn't have been disclosed, or alternatively if something should have been disclose or another error on your National Police Check.


To lodge a dispute you will need to speak with a member of our team via Live Chat or send an email to support@checked.com.au stating which of the following dispute categories you would like to dispute your results under:

  • All police information released does not belong to you.
  • Part of the police information released does not belong to you.
  • Police information does belong to you, but the details are inaccurate.
  • Police information does belong to you, but it should not have been released. 
  • Police information belonging to you has not been released. 

NOTE: Make sure to include any supporting documentation you have for your claim as this will speed up the process.
