What is a selfie ID photo?

A selfie ID photo is an additional ID requirement for online applications. You must provide a photo of yourself via the realtime capture on your mobile device or web camera, holding one of your ID documents that you submitted to your application. This is a legal requirement by the Australian Government to provide certainty the applicant is completing the application themselves.


Note: You must ensure that the ID document you’re holding in the photo is clear and legible.
