How do I verify a national police check provided to me?

To verify a National Police Check (NPC) issued by Checked Australia, send an email to verifications@checked.com.au requesting verification of a check. You will need to provide the organisational reference number and applicant name within the email.

The organisational reference number can be found under the check details section, with a subheading saying “organisational reference number”, the number usually starts with “9” or “8”.

You can also press a button at the top right of the police check certificate which says “click here to request instant email verification”.

Note: We can not verify police checks that were produced more than 3 months ago. This is because the information is only stored for 3 months, in line with the data retention policies for NPC's.
